The Iberia Parish Parks and Recreation Department has announced the grand opening for their new park, Isle of Iberia RV Resort, on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 6 and on Saturday, April 8, 2017 special events will begin for campers.

- Raising of flags by Ernest Freyou from American Legion Post 335, Taylor Barras, Louisiana House Speaker and Fran Thibodeaux Executive Director, Iberia Parish Convention & Visitors Bureau
- Tour of club house & grounds
- Refreshments served.

- Live Remote with 97.3 DAWG 10 a.m. - noon.

About the Resort:
The RV Resort has 185 available sites for recreation vehicles, a clubhouse, 9000 sq. ft. of pools and water features, a fishing pond and a 40x40 sun deck/band stage/movies screen.
Iberia Parish Parks and Recreation Department began operation management of the facility January 1, 2017 and has revamped areas of the park for tourists and local visitors.
