On May 19, 2019, we got the opportunity to attend a fashion show, thanks to Phanat Xanamane, our internship leader and a friend of the show’s manager. It was the first time for both of us and we will surely keep this as an incredible and unforgettable memory in our minds.
The event was organized by the young and talented Alex Malay, who launched her own brand (Alex Malay). The show’s name and theme were focused around a “Secret Garden.” We felt very impressed at first glance because we had to go through a pretty blooming gate/arch after a little photoshoot to take our seats.
During the show, we felt like we were in another world, a world with an amazingly peaceful atmosphere. Indeed, the first thing we noticed were the flowers. There were flowers everywhere, giving the garden a colorful and peaceful atmosphere. In addition, the show was located in Avery Island's Jungle Gardens, which perfectly suited the main theme.
After a little wait, they began and the models started to parade in stunning outfits. The colors, patterns, shapes and materials followed each other before our amazed eyes. Everyone was quiet and impressed by the quality and uniqueness of the outfits. The only audible sound was the sweet melody of a languishing violin.
At the end of the show, the audience was unanimous in offering Alex a warm applause. After that, we had a little drink, met a few nice people and got the chance to take a picture with Alex in front of the blooming gate.

Le 19 Mai 2019, nous avons eu la chance d’assister à un défilé de mode. Cette occasion s’est présentée grâce à notre maitre de stage, Phanat Xanamane qui est ami avec l’organisatrice de l’évènement. C’était une première pour nous deux et nous en garderons assurément un souvenir incroyable et inoubliable.
L’évènement était organisé par la jeune et talentueuse Alex Malay, qui a lancé sa propre marque (Alex Malay). Le nom et le thème du défilé faisaient référence à un Jardin Secret. Nous avons été très impressionnées dès le premier regard car nous avons été prises en photo sous un magnifique portail fleuri avant de rentrer prendre nos places.
Pendant le défilé, nous avons eu le sentiment d’appartenir à un autre univers, un univers avec une atmosphère merveilleusement calme et paisible. En effet, l’une des premières choses que nous avons remarquées était les fleurs. Il y avait des fleurs de partout, donnant ainsi au jardin cette ambiance colorée et créative. De plus, le défilé avait lieu aux Jungle Gardens, ce qui se mariait parfaitement avec le thème principal de l’évènement.
Après une petite attente, le show a été lancé et les mannequins ont commencé à défiler, paradant dans de magnifiques tenues. Les couleurs, les motifs, les matières et les formes se succédaient les unes à la suite des autres devant nos yeux ébahis. Le silence était d’or car tout le monde était très impressionné par la qualité et l’unicité des tenues. Le seul bruit audible était la douce mélodie d’un violon accompagnant les mannequins dans leur parade.
A la fin du défilé, le public a applaudi de manière unanime et a offert à Alex de nombreux compliments. Après cela, nous avons bu un verre de punch, rencontré des personnes très sympathiques et pris une photo en compagnie d’Alex devant le portail fleuri de l’entrée.
