GRA is about waking up the people of South Louisiana to the importance of preserving the cultural resources of language, foodways, and music unique to Louisiana's Cajuns.

Iberia Parish will celebrate with dignitaries; the Bayou Teche French Table; performances and a tintamarre by North Lewis Elementary French Immersion students; and cultural presentations on the New Acadia Project, Iberia's Spanish heritage, African American history, Grand Marais Mardi Gras parade and New Iberia's trilingual markers.

Chicken and Sausage Gumbo will be served for lunch at the Sliman Theater. Participants need to RSVP here for planning purposes.
