Local farmers selling produce, plants, honey, homemade pies or any item made/produced locally. Grass-fed beef, pork and lamb are also available at the meat market during this time. The market also keeps produce in the GLC Farm Store during the week.

Every third Wednesday of the month. Les Cadiens du Teche (Cajun French Music Association) dance to Cajun music with a
meal, door prizes, cake walk, 50/50 and camaraderie, at their monthly public meeting.

Play for a cause every 1st and 3rd Thursday at 10-game bingo night, benefiting non-profits and charities. It is $20 to play and reservations are accepted and encouraged. Each game will be a different charity partner to "split the jackpot" on winnings.

Series of theatrical presentations and musical performances on select balconies along New Iberia's award-winning Main Street. Performances start at Shadows-on-the-Teche (317 E. Main St.) at 1 p.m. Bring lawn chair. Before the event, enjoy food and music on the grounds of the Shadows from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Experience a harvest of delicious homegrown produce and home-made products by area farmers, artists and crafters. Also included are hand-made cypress yard objects, home-made bread and fresh baked goods, ceramics, honey, jellies, jams, herbs, candies, handcrafted wooden bowls and utensils, birdhouses, garden benches and much more. The market is held every Saturday morning from 7 - 12 p.m. and Tuesday afternoon from 2 - 6 p.m.

Join Church Alley Cafe for a fun craft night every Wednesday in October. Step-by-step instruction and all supplies/tools provided each week. Preregistration required.

Every Thursday. Celebrate our Cajun culture and improve your French speaking skills regardless of your level of French. Additionally, enjoy conversations with francophones and francophiles who visit New Iberia from all over the world as well as students in the French Immersion setting at North Lewis Elementary. Vive le francais!

Every 4th Thursday of the month. Bring the kids, play bingo and help feed a family in need. Bring non-perishable food items which benefit Loreauville’s Our Lady of Victory Food Pantry. “Buy in” for bingo is 5-regular sized candy bars per 5-game pack. Join Chick-Fil-A for Halloween fun. There will be candy, activities, music, face painting and family fun as local New Iberia businesses and first responders gather for the annual community event.

Join the City of New Iberia in front of city hall when they color the fountain black before parading down Main Street for Halloween! Parade will begin at Prairie St. and end at Railroad St.
