Family fun and team-oriented festival aimed to bring out the competitive kid in everyone. From the costumes, the chants, the races, and of course, the incredible South Louisiana food, the Acadiana Dragon Boat Races has something for everyone. Ranch Sorting is an event that pits a team of two riders on horseback against the clock. Teamwork is the key with both riders working in harmony to cut out the correct cattle and drive them to the pen while keeping the wrong numbered cattle back.

"Diversions" is a short documentary film produced by Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities to address Louisiana's coast and land loss and how it affects all of those in the state. Special guest, Kerry St. Pe’, will be on hand to discuss some of the film’s subjects. This program is being held through a partnership between St. Mary Parish Library and the Jeanerette Museum.
